I always knew that I was destined for a career in academia. I have a natural ability to explain abstract concepts of the English language in an engaging, interesting, and thought-provoking manner. As a busy teacher and a homemaker, I balance my demanding tutoring commitments with my true love - sparking curiosity and interest through my teaching.

KID'S GRAMMAR LESSON
This course focuses on learning the different parts of speech in English, as well as improving the child's reading comprehension using 300-450- word stories. This course is suitable for children aged 8-12.

The primary materials used in this lesson are from the TED website. The student watches the talk in advance and answers the activities that the teacher prepared. The activities include listening comprehension questions, discussions, and vocabulary build-up.

IELTS SPEAKING COURSE
This is perfect for those who are preparing for an IELTS test. The lesson is like a simulation of the real speaking test, where I act as the examiner and the student as the test-taker. Feedback is given at the end of the lesson. Sometimes, I give homework for the student to work on in preparation for the next class. This could include studying idioms, collocations, phrasal verbs, and the like.
