ABOUT ME

Hello there, my name is Cherry Caporal. I am a professional English teacher based in the land of exotic beauty and culture, the Philippines. When I'm not sitting in my home-office chair teaching students, you can find me in front of our 53-inch TV, binge-watching Japanese TV series and anime, or singing karaoke, or on our rooftop, capturing the beauty of the sky during the magic hours.

The joy of interacting with others freely is what inspires me. I'm passionate about teaching English as it enables students to build connections with each other despite the language and cultural differences.

I firmly believe that learning English isn't just about building your vocabulary, accent, fluency, or grammar. I believe it's all about breaking boundaries and bridging gaps.

I knew from early on that I wanted to pursue a career in teaching. I have been lucky to have been taught and inspired by a number of mentors who have had a meaningful impact on my academic life. As an enthusiastic and devoted teacher, I strive to pass on their love of learning to my own students.
